Wut time is it???

Ecclesiastes 3
1To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

2A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

3A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

4A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

5A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

6A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

7A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

8A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

The Word has already been blessed but may the Lord add a blessing to the readers of His word.

Ok now outta church boy mode lol...but before i do..do u remember these:

oh choir days lol

These verses of Ecclesiates have always caused me to think. Growing up in the church, it was not uncommon for me to jus pick up the Bible (King James Version) and just read...sometimes when pastor was preachin cuz I didn't wanna listen lol....well these versus have always stuck in my mind. It makes me wonder wut time is it for me..cuz like verse one says "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. Kinda makes those sayings like "All good things in time...and good things come to those who wait...and This too shall pass" a lil clearer right? Cuz to every time there is a purpose and to everything a season. I'm pretty sure most of us have been in situations and wondered wut the point/purpose of it was or how long it would last. I wonder wut time it is for me and wuts the purpose of this time? I try to remember that the Lord doesn't put more on us than we can bear..and that I can do all things thru Christ who strengthens me..somebody cue the organ and the choir lol

In my mind, the answer to every question is love.

Amen...a time for everything and everything in its time. Equally important is knowing what time it is and trsting your divine judgment to do what's in its time for you to do. Now that's where trusting the Lord gets tricky

patience is not a delay in getting what we want, but a virtue. With every situation there is a blessing, there is growth, there is a purpose. Yes indeed there is a moment for everything, and a reason for it.

Thank you for sharing this post.

Peace

Ha...you're a church boy, huh? Interesting.

Um...Ecclesiastes was always one of my fave books by the the wise man himself. So much wisdom on the book...

Jerzey,
Nobody wanted to be deemed a bible quoting fanatic so folks paraphrased them, which is why those cliches seem a little clearer after reading the verse. =)

I've learned about seasons alright! I've also learned that I've never liked them. They come when you're not ready or prepared and they leave too soon!
